Drawing Elephant, Playing with OMS
This was done. I love this elephant.
1 day I play with oms. the feeling is funny. so I share.
Left side Photo :
At the Beginning, the sky was already full of pigment. the photo was taken prior to brushing with OMS
Right side Photo:
Finished version after brushing with OMS, then smashing the sky with damp tissue by OMS
Experiment part - after using brush to apply oms, I damp a tissue with oms, use very hard force to wipe very hard on the whole skies zone. the friction smash everything and outcome looks .... suble and funny.😆
I do the same things on the 'land' zone. Sadly, this time was a failure. I drew very thick layer of sand colour. Then I applied layers and layers of dark brown on top of light sand color. when use oms to brush, all thing ok.
THEN, I wipe it all with a damp tissue full of oms. This time, All dark brown pigment was wiped away. Only the base layer of sand colour stay. all upper layers was wiped away. I need to redraw.
Then, I starring at a sand picture. use an electronic eraser to mimic the wave edges. this experiment part was also funny. (result in the bottom page, last wip photo
(prisma cp, background underneath part, cretacolor monolith. on canson 1557 paper 11x16 ref from public domain picture)
